I live in Hawaii and my house is completely surrounded by monkey pod trees that shade us all but an hour a day on every side of the house. I do have some areas of yard that get intense unshaded sunlight for about 6 hours a day. I was wondering how I would go about setting up outdoor plant lights that would run off solar panels. I would prefer the lamps to run during the day. I need to light a 5 X 8 ft space. I need to know what my options are here. I have spent a lot of time making biodiesel and could run a diesel generator for almost nothing. I want to avoid doing that because of the fumes. I don't want to be breathing that in and my neighbors don't want their houses to smell like taco bell. Thanks for your time.

Energy independence really can be yours. This site makes that point very clear. My wife and I have had that independence for 20 years now. It is time to spread the word like is being done here. You can see how we have done it on our site www.livingonsolar.com.
